Just by interesting happenstance, our builder happened to order our
lumber from Arlington Lumber, which, if you've ever watched This Old
House or Yankee Workshop, you know this is where master carpenter Norm
Abrahms gets his lumber.
The owner of Arlington Lumber accompanied the delivery truck, and when
I went out to say hello, I said in what I'm sure were slightly
starstruck tones that hey, Norm Abrahms gets his lumber from you guys!
In total deadpan and with a QUINTessential Arlington/Boston accent, he
said, "young lady, I sold lumbah to Nahm Abrahms FAHTHah." Then he
let me take the photo.
He's the guy on the right in the photo.
